Founded in 2017, Study Mind is an education and mentoring organisation that specialises in delivering academically rigorous and engaging learning experiences for students aged 9–18. We are trusted by over 200 schools, universities, local authorities, and international partners to design and deliver career-focused workshops, summer schools, and mentoring initiatives. Our in-person and online experiences are known for being inclusive, interactive, and impactful. Many of our programmes are tailored to widening participation cohorts and disadvantaged learners, and we work hard to ensure accessibility through scholarship schemes, online reach, and differentiated content.

Dr Kunal Dasani
Founder

Dr Kunal Dasani is one of the co-founders of Study Mind and a recognised leader in the education and ed-tech sector. With a background in medicine and a passion for widening access to competitive courses, Kunal has spent the last decade building some of the UK's most trusted academic support platforms, including Medic Mind, Oxbridge Mind, Law Mind, and Study Mind ANZ.

Kunal holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University College London (UCL) and brings together expertise in both clinical training and educational innovation. He scored 900 in three sections of the UCAT — a reflection of his academic ability and insight into high-stakes admissions testing — and has channelled this understanding into developing scalable, student-centred learning tools.

Since founding Medic Mind in 2017, Kunal has co-led the organisation's expansion into over 25 countries, supporting 25,000+ students applying to medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, and other competitive university pathways. Under his leadership, Study Mind and its sister brands have partnered with King's College London, University of Bristol, the NHS, and local authorities across the UK, delivering large-scale outreach, tutoring, and enrichment programmes.

Dr Mohil Shah
Founder

Mohil Shah is the co-founder of Medic Mind, Study Mind and a driving force behind some of the fastest-growing education platforms in the UK, Australia, and beyond. With a medical degree from University College London (UCL) and frontline NHS experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mohil blends clinical expertise with a sharp focus on digital education and accessibility.

Since launching Medic Mind in 2017, Mohil has played a key role in scaling the company to a global team of 1,000+ tutors, delivering over 50,000 hours of live lessons annually and supporting more than 50,000 students across the UK, Australia, Singapore, UAE, and Malaysia. He has led government-backed partnerships with over 100 schools, NHS trusts, and universities, including King's College London, Birmingham, and Bristol, with a mission to widen participation in healthcare and STEM careers.

In 2020, Mohil co-founded Study Mind, a platform tackling the full K-13 spectrum, from 11+ and GCSEs to A-Levels and Oxbridge applications. The platform now ranks in the top 3 on Google for several key terms and has become an approved partner for the UK National Tutoring Programme and over 10 UK councils for alternative provision. His other ventures include Law Mind and Oxbridge Mind, expanding academic support to aspiring lawyers and Oxbridge applicants.

Madaline Huntsinger
Partnerships Manager

Madaline is the Programme and Partnerships Manager at Study Mind, leading educational programmes and managing international agent partnerships. With 15+ years in higher education, accreditation, student services, and finance, she builds systems that improve student success and operational efficiency.

At Masters Design Lab, she led a British Accreditation Council interim review, resolving 15 unmet standards and increasing program completion rates from 30% to 75% within her first nine weeks. At John Cabot University in Rome, she directed the accreditation process for the residential life program during its Middle States Commission on Higher Education reaffirmation. She managed the complex logistics and staffing for quarterly move-ins of over 1,200 students, coordinating key distribution, staff scheduling, student workers, and infrastructure across multiple site locations, while collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Earlier, at Guess? Inc. in Los Angeles, Madaline was part of a small three-person team, directly under the direction of CCO and founder Paul Marciano, managing licensing contracts worth over $200 million. She oversaw international licensees for accessories and shoes across Europe and Asia and co-produced a $1 million global brand summit. She holds a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance and Investing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Madaline combines financial expertise, accreditation leadership, and operational skills to drive impactful results.

Rebecca
Educational Content Manager

After qualifying as a teacher over 15 years ago, Rebecca started her career teaching Early Years and Primary in disadvantaged schools in the UK. After this, she joined the team at the prestigious Kings' School Dubai in the UAE and became Head of Early Years. She has written articles for well-known education journals and magazines, including the Education Journal Middle East. It was at Kings' that she led the re-writing of a bespoke curriculum for Early Years to KS4. Having been trained by the renowned curriculum expert, H. Lynn Erickson, her expertise in curriculum redesign and development led her to accept a position as Headteacher at the International School Zurich North (ISZN), part of Cognita, a prestigious international education group with schools across the globe.

In her current role as Educational Content Manager at Study Mind, Rebecca continues to create educational content in the form of online courses, teaching materials and articles. Her expertise in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) was utilised when creating an online IELTS course to support students who are taking the English exam, and her book on revising for the IELTS will be published later in the year. She has also co-written books in Study Mind's 'Applying to' series, aimed at giving students helpful information and tips to secure their place at university.

Emma Lord
Marketing Manager

Emma is the Marketing Manager at Study Mind, leading on the creation of strategy and implementation across all four Study Mind brands. Emma has over 10 years of experience marketing for educational and strategic events companies with a special focus in digital marketing. Emma brings together experience of working for hyper-growth scale ups with an in depth understanding of the educational market.

In previous roles, Emma has expanded companies market share through implementation of effective acquisition and conversion based campaigns. Including breaking into target international markets, expansion of school partnerships and leading on the visual and written re-branding to ensure client trust and brand visibility. Emma was the Associate Director of Marketing at InvestIN Education creating and leading a team of six marketing professionals. Through strategic campaigns, Emma created a 73% increase in sales, 84% increase in traffic to website and a 97% increase in CTR from email campaigns. Emma was responsible for managing third party PPC and SEO agencies with a combined yearly marketing budget of £500K+.

In her current role, Emma leads on all strategic implementation of marketing including creation of solus and automated email marketing, optimisation of PPC across all brands, increasing SEO performance, website development, partnerships strategy, brand identity, webinar creation and wider strategic development of top-of-the-funnel marketing activities.
